ECRAAL participated "Re-launch of the Single Market - building on the potential" with Malcolm Harbour, MEP

14-07-2011

EPC Breakfast Policy Briefing with Malcolm Harbour, MEP was today at the Crowne Plaza Europa Hotel.

A functioning Single Market would be one of Europe’s best means to overcome the economic crisis.  Much more must be done, therefore, to build on the potential and tackle the existing barriers to its achievement. The Single Market Act, adopted in April 2011, identified 12 areas for action that could help to generate economic growth and increase Europe’s competitiveness. These include efforts to promote greater worker mobility and strengthen the Digital Single Market, which offers enormous benefits for Europe.
